For Every Cause, There’s an Effect. We call it The KEEN Effect.
Doing the right thing since 2003
We don’t like the term “corporate responsibility.” We are social and environmental justice action-takers who make shoes to make a difference — from access and inclusion to creating a lighter footprint on the planet.
Outside For All
Every KEEN boot, sandal, or trainer you buy has a positive effect, funding programmes to make the outdoors and trades more accessible to all.
in 2020, we supported innovative programmes inspiring outdoor access and inclusion for underserved communities of kids. Discover the different organisations that received our grants last year.

KEEN is working together with the organisation Everyday Refugees. This foundation aims to help refugees and people displaced internally by war, natural disasters, discrimination, and poverty.
Detoxing The Planet
We’re on a mission to leave the planet better than we found it, and every decision we make is a chance to minimise our impact. We are conscientious about each and every one.

OUR DETOX JOURNEY
“In 5 years, we’ve kept over 150 tons of fluorinated chemicals from being introduced into the environment.”
It took about 10,000 hours to eliminate PFCs from our supply chain, and it feels really good.
